In 1969, in a city that in collective imaginations means tradition, work, taste for good and nice things, in an area where the famous car company Ferrari, founded by Enzo Ferrari, was born, Liliana Caselli decided to create her own watch company. Viewing the moon landing performed by Neil Armstrong through the eyes of Percival Lowell, she decided to create the right instrument for everyone, in the ideal place, to live and measure time. Since its first beginnings, Lowell’s real strong points are the product mix, their continuous and immediate availability and an efficient post selling assistance service.
Today, with the natural motion of renovation, passing the baton to her sons, that goes from new strategies to the optimization of the sales network and despite the present crisis, Lowell is a prosperous company employing 30 peoples. This year it will also celebrate the first century of Glycine, the prestigous brand founded in Biel in 1914 and proudly distribuited in Italy by Lowell. This is a big goal for a historical family business that embodies the true Made in Italy spirit: the art of doing, handed down from generations, the research, the Italian taste and style together with passion and strong innovative attitude, to be always witness and performer of the sliding time.
