Two young designers from Milan, Stefania and Andrea. An innovative project, fusion of antithetical cultures to meet and mingle, giving the impression of being perfectly complementary. Stefania Marra is a fashion designer. From 2008 to 2011 she worked at the studio of the designer Giovanni Cavagna. She collaborates with several fashion studies in Milan and created collections for Patrizia Pepe and Caractère. Andrea “Verso” Capiluppi, sound engineer and screen printer, contributes to the realization of the clothes with his skills and creativity.
STMA is the bet of these young artisans. The goal, already largely achieved, was to give birth to a brand of contemporary women’s clothing, which could combine methods of artisan production with a urban undergound soul. The clothes express the brand’s constant tension towards experimentation, research and future: sophisticated apparels for women, original lines and daring combinations. The brand, at its fifth collection, decided to open his own exhibition space, a kind of lab-store in Rho, Milan.
The new space is a store but is primarily a laboratory, where the ideas and creations take shape. A small living room, where guests are welcome and can breathe the essence of the young brand.
